Genome Club Inauguration

The Genome Club of The Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development, Imphal was formally inaugurated by Prof. I. S. Khaidem, former Vice-Chancellor, Manipur University at a function attended by many scientists and distinguished invitees from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, Manipur University, Central Agricultural University, colleges and other institutions. The genome club with the vision of “genetic literacy for all” will have its focus on recent technological developments in the field of biotechnology application on Bioresources utilization and its impact on human welfare. This friendly forum will bring together all interested persons to know/ share/ debate about the biotechnological research and developments. Genome club meetings features, at present, invited lectures, training, awareness programs, seminars, etc. in the Institute.
